New Videos Tout Lowell’s Business Assets

Tapping Local Entrepreneurs to Promote the City’s Business Friendly Climate

Lowell, MA, February 12, 2014 --- The City of Lowell is pleased to announce the release of 4, 2-minute videos focusing on local businesses – Enterprise Bank, Infobionic, Plenus Group and Simply Khmer Restaurant. The videos serve as testament to Lowell’s business friendly climate and the many assets that are available to help businesses successfully start and growth their operations in the city.

“The CEOs are very candid and forthright about this truism – that Lowell is a great place to do business. That applies whether you’re a long standing banking institution, an ethnic restaurant, a medical device start-up company or a food manufacturer” said City Manager Bernie Lynch. “They represent very different industries but Lowell’s big economic development canopy has room for everyone.”

The release of the videos is part of an ongoing effort to reach new audiences. The City is optimizing its marketing efforts by increasing its content on visual platforms such as Vimeo and YouTube. YouTube is currently the number two search engine in the world; with over one billion unique users and videos the internet video phenom can help the City market to new audiences where they’re most present.
